One of our favorite things to do for the christmas season decortate the tree. We love the lights and the glow that they bring to the home. We like to add something every year, and found ribbon that lights up it adds some color to the white tree. Though Kens comments it looks like a candy cane. So now when I look at it, it does look like one. Thanks alot ken.

Kolton has hit the magic number 8. It was in October and he was so excited to start scouts. He was able to attend our wards day camp where he had so much fun. On the same day he finished his last scoccer game where he was an amazing goalie. He loved playing goalie he doesn't like to run around all over the field so to be able to stand and proctect the goal was right up his allie. And then lastly he was baptized on thanksgiving weekend, he was surrounded by cousins and family with all his grandma's and grandpa's here. Sadly we did not get pictures of the family when they were here.

Here you go Grandma, finally Kadi and Taylor for homecoming. She looked really good and had great time. The picture is a little deceiving as he is 6'2" and Kadi had on 4 inch heels to look this tall.

Kolton what a great kid. I did have the chance to finish my blogging of the summer which included pic of him. He had the opportunity to go to California with his best friend. They had a great time swimming, playing video games, going to the beach, playing video games, eating, playing video games. Do you see the pattern. If he could do school on the computer he would be in the 8th grade by know. He is doing well in 2nd(sniff, sniff) grade. I hope that he has a great year to go along with our great summer.

We loved the beach we spent 2 days and 1 night at the beach while we were in California, Jacob loved the beach on the first day there he even went out on the boogie board. He was getting pretty good at it. Sadly I didn't get a picture of him on the board. The first day it was so cold though that did not stop the kids from playing for hours in the water that was 64 degrees. And though is was over cast most came away with a nice burn. Poor Sierra had forgotten to put on sunscreen on her face and she fried. When we were at grandma's house the boys would disappear and play the Wii it was a great time with friends.

I forgot that I haven't blogged about how well Jaimee did at the end of the school year last year. She had a great week, first she made it into the National Junior Honor Scoiety, then she was pick by her math teacher for a special regonition. She had straight A the entire year. It was a great year for her. Jaimee really brings a great spirit to all she does. I am so grateful that we have her in our family. She is turning 13 this week and I hope she will stay that sweet girl.

Jaimee has the best of all worlds. She had lots of friends with her to hang with, she also has lots of friends in Cali that she has kept in touch with. It was fun to she how wonderful her friends are. We would stay up late at night playing games and having fun, and it was very faith building to see how these girls lift each other up. They would remind each other that no matter what time they stayed up till they still had journal writing and scriptures to read. It is with these friends that Jaimee gets to teach me and help our family to stay on track. These are also the girls that I get the wonderful privilege to work with in YW.

More shots of Kadi, I can't believe how she is growing up which I should have mentioned really the summer started off with Kadi turning 16. Yes that kills me to say, she had a great party. The best part of the party was that Grandma and Grandpa Law, Grandma Terry, and Grandpa and Grandma Dover all came to celebrate with her. I will have to find the pics of the party and post them. Now that I have the computer back and I have not started school I need to get our life updated.

We had a pretty quiet summer we stayed in Arizona most of it. Compared to last years summer where it seemed we were gone for ever. We the girls and I went to Girls Camp which was an amazing time. I think that the YW had a good time. We have a beautiful place that our stake goes to each year, so I knew more of what to expect and was able to plan for this year. The weather was nice warm during the day and cool at night. The night we had our testimony meeting it was freezing I was not prepared for the cooler temp and froze for most of it. It was nice to hear the testimonies of the girls in the ward and learn more about them. We took a wonderful trip to California with two family friends, there was 20 of us staying in my most gracious in laws home. We had a wonderful time hanging with the friends and going to the beach. For us it is going home as well and it is all great to see our friends in Cali. With the two families all of the kids had some one there age this is Kadi and Kylee. They were awesome and very helpful. Kadi and Kylee were the photographers most of the time and took amazing pictures. Kadi really like to play with the camera and take many wonderful pictures. I wish that I could post all of them but that would take forever.

I know it has been forever since this has been updated. With the kids home I never get the computer. I will update all about our summer soon. It has been a wonderful summer and I can't believe that the kids are going back to school in just 2 weeks. It will be good to sit down and write about all the fun we had.
