Last week Jacob went to cub scout day camp. He had a great time and was able to do lots of funs stuff. He got to shoot a gun, use a bow and arrow, swim, go over an obsticle course and do crafts that mom won't allow. I was able to go a spend a day with him it was a good day. We also lucked out because it was only 96 degrees that day. Lots of water balloons and spray guns were used and you were wet all of the time. Jake is loving scouts and I am learning a lot though I not sure that I should. I think it would be fun to be a scout leader(did I just say that).

On this Saturday we had a primary activity it was our water day. We set up a huge slip and slide at the park and the kids can have all you can eat snow cones. It is the best activity it doesn't cost a lot and the kids love it. It is what summer is all about.

Ken went to scout camp the week after school was out. He put most of it together and ran alot of it. He was very stressed. On top of running scout camp he decided to make this patrol chuck boxes. He worked on these for about 2 months on the back patio. He did an excellent job as only Ken can do and they came in handy as the boys were in charge of cooking their own meals. Yes he painted them as well. I am always amazed at how talented he is and how lucky I am to have him.

The next day was Kolton gradutaion from preschool. He was cute the only way we could get him to go was he could get a doughnut. I can't believe that I never have to pay for preschool again. What to do with the extra money. Nice thought but it is already gone just back in the budget. Grandpa Tom was in town and went with us and then to Paradise Bakery for lunch. Kolton's favoorite place for pasta salad.

I know that is has been forever since I put anything on the blog but Ken had the camera and I just got it back. These are pictures of Kadi promotion from the 8th grade. It was a very warm morning and this was her first day off crutches she was a little nervous. She made it through without falling and she even sang with the choir it was a good day.

Well we have been really busy, I thought that after school was out that things are supposed to calm down. Kadi had her birthday this week and I can't believe that she is 14. We didn't get any pictures because Ken had the camera. He was at scout camp with the 12 and 13 year old scouts. They had a great time and were able to accomplish a lot.
